A focused program highlighting traceability, regulation, and the value of Italian DOC wines will engage trade and media at one of the leading Italian wine events in the U.S.
Miami, FL (February 25, 2026) – Federdoc will participate in the Miami stop of the Simply Italian Great Wines Americas Tour, contributing to the program with an educational masterclass and participation in the signature walk-around tasting. Held at Amara at Paraiso, the event will bring together wine trade, media, and industry professionals for a day dedicated to the discovery and understanding of Italian wines.
The Simply Italian Great Wines format, which combines educational seminars with a walk-around tasting, will continue to serve as a key platform for promoting Italian fine wines and fostering meaningful connections within the trade. Through this structure, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of Italian appellations while gaining deeper insight into the history, culture, and regulatory framework behind the wines.
As part of the Miami program, Federdoc will lead an educational seminar titled:
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM “Federdoc Traceability and Regulation of Italian DOC Wines” presented by Federdoc and Lyn Farmer.
The masterclass will focus on the system of traceability and regulation that defines Italian DOC wines, highlighting the importance of origin, quality control, and the role of protection consortia in safeguarding authenticity.
Federdoc will be present in the walk around with its own exhibition space and a brochure containing all the information on DOC wines and their place of origin.
Federdoc’s participation in Simply Italian Great Wines will reflect its ongoing commitment to education and international outreach. By engaging directly with trade professionals and media in key markets such as Miami, Federdoc will continue to promote a deeper understanding of the Italian system of geographical indications and the values that define PDO and PGI wines.
