A focused program on traceability and regulation will highlight the value of Italian DOC wines for trade and media in one of North Carolina’s fastest-growing wine markets.

Raleigh, NC (February 23, 2026) – Federdoc will participate in the Raleigh debut of the Simply Italian Great Wines Americas Tour, contributing to the program with an educational masterclass and presence at the signature walk-around tasting. Held at 1000 Social at The Exchange, the event will mark the tour’s first stop in the city, further establishing Raleigh as an emerging destination for wine and culinary experiences in North Carolina.

The Simply Italian Great Wines format, which combines educational seminars with a walk-around tasting, will offer a dynamic platform for presenting Italian wines to trade and media audiences. The structure will encourage both technical learning and direct engagement with producers, allowing attendees to deepen their understanding of Italy’s diverse appellations while building meaningful industry connections.

As part of the Raleigh program, Federdoc will lead an educational seminar titled:

11:45 AM – 12:45 PM “Federdoc Traceability and Regulation of Italian DOC Wines” presented by Federdoc and Lyn Farmer.

The masterclass will focus on the system of traceability and regulation that defines Italian DOC wines, highlighting the importance of origin, quality control, and the role of protection consortia in safeguarding authenticity.

Federdoc will be present in the walk around with its own exhibition space and a brochure containing all the information on DOC wines and their place of origin.

Federdoc’s participation in Raleigh will reflect its continued commitment to strengthening its presence in growing U.S. markets. As interest in Italian wines expands beyond traditional hubs, cities like Raleigh present valuable opportunities to engage with a new generation of trade professionals and media, while reinforcing awareness of the Italian system of geographical indications.

Location: 1000 Social at The Exchange – 1000 Social St, Raleigh, NC 27609
